Who we are

Set Perception is the trading name of Andrei Nastase, a sole trader and website designer based in Greater London, UK. For data protection purposes we are the data controller of the information you send us through this site.

What we collect

From the contact form, we collect only what you type into it:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business or company name (if you share it)
• Details about your project or question

We do not take payment details through this website.

Website analytics

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count page visits and see which sites visitors come from. GoatCounter does not use cookies and does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or IP addresses tied to you. We use these anonymous numbers only to understand whether the website is being visited and which pages are read. No advertising or tracking cookies are used anywhere on this site.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry
• Prepare a quote or proposal
• Deliver the work if you go ahead
• Keep basic project records

We will not add you to a marketing list or send you sales emails unless you ask us to.

Who processes your data

To run this website we use a few third-party services:

• Web3Forms – processes the contact form and sends your message to us
• IONOS – handles the email account that receives enquiries
• AWS Amplify / CloudFront – hosts the website

These providers only handle your data to deliver the services above. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use standard safeguards required by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 12 months in case you follow up. If you become a client, project records are kept for the period required by UK tax and accounting rules, which can be up to six years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can:

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to or restrict how we use it
• Ask us to move your data to another provider
